This 1/48
scale model was built "out of box" by John Kelver of Ohio. A lot has
been written about this Accurate Miniatures kit and suffice to say it is a
jewel.
John's photos really do justice to the model and if memory serves me right,
he used a Nikon 5400 digital camera for this. He and I got together as
a result of this site and you can imagine my surprise when a parcel arrived
from Squadron Mail Order with my name on it...from John for helping him with
his modelling project. We have kept in touch thanks to the Internet.
This is one
of those long distance friendships that are made as a result of our mutual
interest.
