Harvard Mk IV

This was built from the Monogram 1/48 scale T6 kit with some modifications.  Note the rear canopy section base.  On all Canadian Harvards (and the Yale) this had a curved profile and on this model the fuselage was reconfigured, Saran wrap stretched over and the entire canopy taped over top.  I then used Milliput to reshape the rear section and when I was happy with it I stretched a new canopy, using the modified kit part as a male mold.

This aircraft has a scratch-built heat exchanger exhaust.  The Goldilocks Demonstration team flew these aircraft from RCAF Moose Jaw in the early '60s.
