F-86 Sabre
Hasegawa's 1/48 scale F86-40 converted to a Mk 6 Sabre. The cockpit was scratch built with Eduard PE instrument panel added. The finish is SNJ clear carrier with Sheffield Luxor Pale Gold pigment added. The pigment was liberated from 6 RD Trenton in 1963. The external smoke system plumbing is brass rod.
That crest is one of two original crests given to me by the old Crew Chief on THIS aircraft.
