Jim LeRoy's Pitts S2S Bulldog

Jim LeRoy's S2S "Bulldog" started out as a stock factory built S2S, then the wings received a clipping, the tail was enlarged, and the fuselage strengthened to take a highly modified Lycoming AEIO-540 which was boosted to an incredible 400+ horse power.

Jim's mascot is an English Bulldog named Opus, hense the name of the aircraft.  It has been rumoured that Opus, having learned aerobatics, was grounded for flying too close to fire hydrants.

These photos and those in the construction article were taken with a Nikon Coolpix 990 digital camera.
